Dan Creevey - Solicitor

Prior to joining McGinness & Associates, Dan worked as a solicitor at another Brisbane law firm in the areas of civil litigation and criminal law.

In 2023 Dan worked as an Associate to a District Court Judge in Brisbane. Whilst a Judge’s Associate, Dan furthered his understanding of the court process and the intricacies of criminal law, in particular criminal trials.

Dan has successfully defended clients charged with murder, rape, indecent treatment, fraud and drug offences. Dan has also briefed and instructed counsel in the Court of Appeal in matters where convictions have been overturned.

Dan appears regularly before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts across Queensland on all types of criminal matters.

Dan has a passion for helping clients achieve exceptional results in the criminal justice system no matter how minor or serious the matter.

Dan understands how daunting it can be facing a criminal charge, that is why he is available to be contacted 24/7.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys fishing, playing park footy and watching his favourite teams the Brisbane Broncos and Brisbane Lions.
